There was no sign, nothing at all; for both supernatural and the human beings to tell there was in fact a boundary here. The old treaty between the vampires and the werewolves, so that they would be able to live in some sort of tolerable peace. Yet approximatly four feet away from this line, sitting quite casually under the spread of an old Pine tree, was Alice Cullen. For her foresight hit a barrier whenever she thought about going over that side in the future, and knew from that, where the line was.
She had never crossed the line herself, but it had been broken occaisionally, usually by a spur of the moment, trying-to-catch-dinner sort of thing. She hadn't been with the Cullens when they had made this pact, and did not bother finding out about it either. History was dull and confusing for her, when she knew nothing of her human life - well, just fragments. Birth dates, death dates even, but nothing in between. She had tried to research some more about herself when James had left the link on the recording in the Ballet Studio, but so far, nothing much had come up.
Sighing, and deciding to push that reoccuring topic from the back of her mind, she gazed out through the trees, sometimes seeing a deer or a fox slink through them, but didn't move. She had hunted last night with most of the others, hence the light tawny shade of her eyes. For the moment, the family were hiding, as an expression, trying to find out what had happened since they had left. It had been a hasty choice, but she remained as ever, faithful enough to keep a watch over Bella. Though she had to do it with caution, because if Edward ever saw into her thoughts, all the troubles came back again.
Sure, there had been some highlights, they had picked up Viola on the way, which seemed to have kept Edward happy for a while. But the two visions of Bella she had first seen, Bella dead and then as a vampire, still remained in her head. This had been joined with another two paths, Bella married to Jacob, and then Bella with the Volturi. The latter no one wanted, because no one wanted to have a visit from the Italian Vampire family. And it wasn't just for the human's sake. Aro had respected her views last time, but Alice was sure next time they wouldn't be so lucky. The Cullen family were just too big, and too talented, for their liking.
She shifted in her position slightly, lifting one marble hued arm and propping it between the wood of the tree and her head. Her hair stuck out at all angles as usual, slightly too messy at the moment for her liking. Her clothes, to her disgust, were well, not her favourites. Normally, she wouldn't be seen dead (no pun intended) in just a tee-shirt-and-jeans, but it was practical. As they weren't even supposed to be at Forks, she had to resist the mall for quite some time. Perhaps she could bribe one of the others into going to Seattle with her or something.
There was little noise in the forest today, the steady hum of cars several miles away, unable to be heard at such a distance with human ears, and the steady shiver of the leaves, the gurgling of a stream. Alice lazily closed her eyes for a moment, then opened them again. She was laying stock still, there was no need to pretend to breathe if there were no humans around. Her mind flicked back to her visions. The ones with Jacob or the other werewolves were always fuzzy, like she was watching them from an opaque surface. Sighing in defeat, Alice lay there, and continued to let her thoughts and visions wash over.

Rosalie ran; her blonde hair a distant blur as she dodge tree after moss-covered tree and bush after leaf-clad bush. She was like smudged paint running across a beautiful but dark and mysterious picture, but still her running paint being the pure image of beauty. No matter how you'd choose to put it , it is deep, and to be blunt, all the beauty being describe could be one thing; Rosalie Running. She has always been irresistibly gorgeous to many a man. In every town, city and country she had lived in during her long and endless a male had taken his chances at her, only to see them crushed in front of them. Rosalie only has eyes for one man, only wishing for mortality with one man, and that one man only to be Emmet.
Emmet and her were more than any fairytale imaginable. More than Snow White and her Prince. More than Cinderella and her stalking Prince Rosalie and Alice had often joked with Esme how they thought that particular prince was a little scary for stalking poor Cinders with a shoe and definitely more than Rapunzel. Although, Rapunzel did semi resemble their twisted Love story. Rapunzel equivalent to Rosalie with their beautiful Blonde hair attracting men from far and wide and to the prince whom equalled Emmet, who would only ever love Rosalie respite her incredible looks and ability within a click of her fingers to magnetize men towards her in seconds.
Rosalie ran further. Still on the hunt, alone, for one of her particular favourite meats- Deer. She had been running for hours in a huge, stretched loop around her house- straight out from her house, heading east, heading close to the Forks border, and then round to head South east on her way to complete the loop. She was exasperated; Nothing in the world could possibly soothe her now. Well, Apart from one thing and that came sooner than shed expected. The alluring scent of deer washed over her like the smell of pure and endless happiness. She flinched in a quick movement to face the direction of the creature. The waves in the air told her the distance- each step she took forwards it change- Five Meters Four Meters Three meters. Behind the bushes the brown deer grazed on some lush green grass. She was ready for the kill. She pounced, lithe like a tigress or a lioness, but only a lot more viscous and ready for her prey.
The blood from the creature had been drained within seconds. Despite the dear struggling it stood no chance. Rosalie was far too strong, but still not as powerful as the others. He had stood no chance against the blonde trespasser and so she feasted.
After her meal was over, she felt relaxed. Of course she was not fully satisfied, but it was a start to her meal, almost like an appetiser. Rosalie pushed herself up from the ground in one swift and delicate movement and started to stroll away from the Deer. She jumped over fences and pushed through bushes. The light hit her sparkling face. It was a beautiful day, she could see that even through the thick and dense trees. She continued to walk, deep in though, remembering good times with her sweet Emmet.
All was silent but she was not alone. Instantly and almost instinctively she had crouched into a hunters crouch. She paused and smelt the air. It was an odd scent. The pine had surely disguised it , but it was noticeably revolting- she was close to Wolf territory. But still it was not that that caught Rosalies attention.
Aice? She had asked cautiously, her voice melodic within the orchestra of the wind, birds and leaves rustling. I didnt know you were out hunting! She exclaimed.
Rosalie could have been disgusted and angry at her sister then and there , but she couldnt force herself to try. Sure Alice had left without her but somehow it seemed a petty cause to fight about when for all she knew Wolves could have been watching her from a distance.
She continued whilst walking forwards elegantly. Was it sane to be able to run in four inch stilettos? You so should have waited for me! She sat down beside her sister, waiting for an answer, but impatient to wait too long for a reply, Or could have called on my new Cell,
