At the meadow. Remembering, remembering everything that went on in the very spot he was standing. Remembering when he first fell in love with a fragile human girl... He looked around the pretty meadow, it looked exactly the same than it had four or five years ago. Same greeny, mossy trees. Nothing had changed, but lots of other things had... like himself and Bella's relationship. It was almost non-existent now. Now something sparked between himself and Viola. But Edward wasn't sure if it was legit. Sure, they had kissed once... But it was still NOTHING compared to what had happened during his first kiss with Bella. Edward sighed, sitting in the wide open space, hoping no one would come - unless it was his Bella Swan, of course. But he wasn't even sure if he wanted her hear, either. What would she think if she saw him here? Did she know the Cullens were back in Forks? How would she react? Edward wished to see for himself, but it would be a great coincidence if she appeared now. That chance was almost impossible. But Edward had quickly learned that nothing was impossible. Vampires existed, werewolves existed... Falling love with a fragile human existed. Anything and everything existed, no matter what any ignorant mortal said.

Edward sat. And waited. For what, you ask? For a miracle to happen. For the girl he loved to appear by his side, to emerge from a bush, to jump down from a tree. Waiting... waiting for something to change. Waiting for his Isabella Marie Swan.
