MIRRORMIRROR:: Eye are hazel. In bad mood, they become more brown. In good mood, more specks of green are visible. Currently, her dark brown hair comes down to the small of her back. It is generally straight and curls at the end. She has never dyed it, and has always generally had it in the same style. She often pulls it back into a ponytail when she is with her kids, but mainly it is loose.

BEAUTIFULLYTRAGIC:: Scars:: A large pale scar stretches across from her left shoulder, down to right hip, passing over her heart, from an attack when she was 15. Small scar where she had her appendix removed. Many small scars everywhere as she is quite accident prone. Scars and bruises very easily. No piercings or tattoos, as she has a strong fear of needles, or anything sharp piercing her skin.

SUMMERTIMEINNORTHERNMICHIGAN::Thay was born 6 weeks early on the 13th may, near London, UK. Her mother had been having difficulties with her health, and they had decided to risk bringing Thay into the world earlier than planned. However, things went wrong and Thay's mother died from internal bleeding and further complications. Thay stayed 3 months in the special care baby unit, having many operations to fix a problem with her heart [which still causes problems to the present day], under the watchful eye of her father and grandparents. At the age of 1, her father hung himself, not wanting to have to bring up a daughter who reminded him each day more of his wife. He had left a very large amount of money for his children. Thay went into the care of her grandparents, with her older brother, Luka, on their manor farm in the rural area of Norfolk, near the coast. She grew up happy and none the wiser about her parents. Age 5 she was found to be diabetic. She started horse riding when she was 6. She was home schooled so didn't get much social interaction. When she was 9, her grandfather suffered a heart attack while swimming in the sea with Thay. This affected Thay badly, and caused her to become very distant from people. Her grandmother started to struggle with her moodswings, and her own arthritis, and as there were no other relatives, Thay and Luka were put into care together.
They were adopted when she was 11, he being 16, by a couple who couldn't have children. They still saw her grandmother every other weeked. Her adoptive father had anger issues, and abused his wife, and soon turned his attention on Thay. For the first year of abuse she would fight back, making him more angry, and getting badly hurt. Luka moved out when he was 17, promising Thay he would find a way to get her out. When she was 12, she finally made some friends at the public school she now went to, although they hung out with a gang of much older people. After being so distant and shy for so long, she started to be happier in her life, being able to escape from her adoptive father, and being able to ride again. However, her judgement on true friends had been wrong, and three of the boys from the group attacked her, slashing her with a knife from her left shoulder down to her right hip, across her heart, and raped her. Thay became very distant and never trusted new people. She soon found out she was pregnant. She got moved out of care and into Luka's care. Soon after her 13th birthday she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Halyn Kai Mahina. Her life was complete for a while, bringing up her daughter with the help of her brother and his girlfriend. When she was 15 she had her appendix removed, after a serious case of appendicitis. And not too long after, her grandmother died. She then inherited more money.
Thay had already planned to move away from the UK, to move away from the bad memories. She moved to America, with Halyn, Luka and Hannah, and they started travelling around the country, using their inherited money, staying in Hotels, and making the most of life. Thay was drawn to La Push, Washington, a beautiful place by the sea where she could. While on a particular road trip around Forks and La Push, Thay went into diabetic ketoacidosis, from a combination of severe hyperglycemia, dehydration and exhaustion. Consequently she was on the verge of death while waiting for an ambulance to arrive. On the way to the hospital she slipped into a diabetic coma. She soon recovered, after a week or so, and her brother had brought her a residence in La Push, knowing how much she loved it here. Her horse, Aggro, was transported over, and while her brother and Hannah continue travelling foe a bit, she has stayed behind with Halyn.
