PARIS, FRANCE, 2209

In the year 2009, Renesmee Cullen was born to Isabella and Edward Cullen, the first living breathing vampire to ever walk this earth. Many years later, she married Jacob Black, a Quiluete shapeshifter, something that had never been done before, given the shapeshifter's distaste for vampires. Never the less, Renesmee followed in her mother's footsteps with her new husband, giving birth to the first of completely new breed. With vampire, shapeshifter, and human blood running through the child's veins, the girl, to be named Serene, was the first of her kind, changing the vampire world forever.

Two hundred years since the fateful birth of Renesmee, a new vampire race has been born through the experiments of human and vampire mating. Called half-bloods, the half vampire half human offspring have changed the world today. All still possess vampiric powers, like Alice's foresight and Edward's telepathy, and are usually twice as powerful as full vampires. Half bloods are lucky enough to be able to eat and drink human food, but still thirst for human blood like all vampires. Though they do not have venom in their bite, they're still just as dangerous as regular vampires, if not more. They age differently then regular humans, their growth speed depending on how much vampiric blood runs through their veins. But when they appear twenty one to the outside world, they freeze in that perfect state, Father Time stopping the clock for good.

Our story begins at Saint Caesarius Academy, a prestigious private school with three new wolf packs, three new covens, and with sudden arrival of the Capulets, a human family from Forks. With a dead son back in the States, their eldest son a vampire hunter, and a father who writes books about the mystical history of vampires and shapeshifters, they've caused quite a stir in our fair city. But who everyone is talking about is their mysterious daughter, Taryn Capulet. A fallen angel with a dark past, the human has attracted the attention of all three covens; the Olympic, the Marseilles, and the Volterra; and even the Volturi because of her strange, seductive bloodsong. And with a crimson vampire for a best friend lurking all around her, could it be possible that the newest addition to SCA is soon to be a vampire? Or will Antony Sangue, the prodigy of the Volturi who's willing to go veggie in order to be with Taryn, save her from her fate, even if it means butting heads with a vampire hunter?

For the Parisian, Romanian, and Quiluete Wolves, things are just as bad. An impending war between the Marseilles Coven and the Parisian Wolves looms about even though a truce has been made for the sake of two star crossed lovers. The Quiluete Wolves have their own problems dealing with the Volterra Coven and their youngest son, who's trying to turn their youngest daughter into a monster of sorts, while their youngest son has repeated history by falling for one of the half bloods of the Olympic Coven. Not to mention the nomadic werewolves and shapeshifters are always running about, causing trouble wherever they go. But with the surfacing of an old enemy amidst it all, can a Parisian Wolf with a grudge against werewolves and vampires, unite with his mortal enemy in order to keep his sister safe?

But the question for you is, who will you be? A vampire? A werewolf? A shapeshifter? A human? A half blood? Will you be good, struggling with evil? Or will you be evil, at war with good?

Anything is possible in Paris.
